The Good Batch @ Damansara Uptown Review

The Good Batch has been around for quite some time and it is still a hot cafe with loads of patrons. Breakfast items are what gave The Good Batch such popularity. Recently, they revamped their menu to give their dishes a better spin. Lets proceed with breakfast for two, shall we?

I always love cafes with lots of windows. It gives the cafe a really fresh and lively feeling with sunlight shining into the cafe. I am also sure that Intragrammers will enjoy taking picture here with such good lighting. So guys, and girls, snap snap snap!

Menus are placed in this cute hanging storage area. Oh look! 3 mojitos for RM60!

Reasonable priced coffee.

Hmm... I think I missed a page of the menu. Didn't see the page with The Ang Moh. OMG. What a fail.

By the way, they have lychee mojito, white grape mojito and a few more flavors. Not sure why it is not in the menu yet. 

Norwegian (RM25)

This is what I had for my breakfast. It may look like it is a small portion but trust me it is not. This Norwegian is the new and improved version with red pepper Hollandaise sauce instead of their regular Hollandaise. So lets check if the eggs are poached properly. What better idea than just poking into it?

Hmmmm... Looks like it is perfectly poached.

While I appreciate that the Hollandaise sauce is something new and refreshing unlike other Hollandaise out there, it would be better if they put just a little less of the sauce on it. Maybe they should serve it with more ebiko instead. 

Bangers and Mash (RM25)

Again, deceiving looking portion. It filled my boyfriend up until the point where he could not finish the mashed potato. Mind you, he is a big eater. I really love the mashed potato as it was creamy and smooth. One of the better mashed potatoes I have ever had in cafes.

Look at the amount of people waiting. Well, too bad you came in late.

By the time we finished out breakfast at 10.30am, we realized there was quite a crowd outside waiting for seats. Do come in early if you are planning for breakfast. Parking is also a hassle if you are here late. After all, we are talking about Damansara Uptown which is famous for lack of parking and double parkers. 

Will I revisit? Definitely. I am really interested to try the Japanese!
